Obstructing an ambulance is a form of violence against health care services. Ambulances - whether belonging to government emergency services, hospitals or humanitarian organizations - have the right of way on roads. This public pledge campaign is supported by the ICRC in a nationwide initiative to help implement road rights for ambulances and foster respect of the Pakistani public for health care services as a whole.

Making a pledge requires something very sacrosanct - your intent. A promise to us and the community that you will be mindful and socially responsible when on the road. By clicking the pledge button you agree to abide by your intent to give Ambulances the Right of Way.

The app offers three ways for a user to make a pledge – Video Pledge, Picture Pledge or a simple Pledge Certificate for those who do not wish to make a video or take their picture.
